What is Story Starters?
We all want our kids to grow up with
big hearts, open minds, & helping hands.
Yet everyday we see examples of people being hurt because they are seen as different in some way. Many of us are asking...
What do we tell our kids?
How do we support them on their journey to being forces of awesome
in the community and in the world?
Story Starters helps families answer
some of these tough questions.
We know that racial bias starts early and that avoiding conversations about race is harmful to all kids. So we’ve developed an at-home program for pre-k and kindergarten kids and their families to encourage conversations that build empathy, support connection, and preempt racial bias.
