Belmont Books is an honest to goodness real mom-and-pop brick-and-mortar bookstore in beautiful Belmont, MA. They believe​ small town stores aren't just places to buy things you could easily get online. They're centers where people come together in the most impromptu, unorganized fashion and exchange views, ideas, stories, make new friends and find support they didn't know existed. 

The mission of the Social Action Committee (SAC) at First Church is to provide information and events focused on making a difference in the lives of others. SAC focuses on awareness and reversing class, racial, social, and cultural inequality. SAC promotes the Unitarian Universalist principles focusing on: poverty alleviation, human rights, environmental protection, and peace activism and conflict resolution.
