Join Story Starters for a cozy, interactive lap-sit story time for babies and toddlers (ages 0–4). The stories we read will celebrate the many different identities and experiences present in our community. Together, we’ll approach each story with joy and curiosity, modeling simple, age-appropriate strategies that caregivers can use at home. Families of all kinds are welcome to read and wonder together.

Join us on Marathon Monday to cheer on Brian Denitzio as he runs the 2026 Boston Marathon in support of Story Starters! Grab a spot along the route, make a sign, and celebrate with other Story Starters families and friends as we root him on together.

Brian is running to support Story Starters because, as both a longtime public school educator and a parent, he believes deeply in helping young children grow into curious, compassionate, and confident people. He has seen firsthand how Story Starters gives families and educators practical tools and language to have meaningful conversations with children. Running the marathon is his way of giving back to an organization that is making a real difference for kids, classrooms, and communities.

Please join us and welcome Angela Pham Krans for Story Time in The Children's Den as she reads a few of her children's books. Story Starters families know Angela’s magic as she is the Author of Words Between Us! If you’re a Story Starters family bring along your copy for Angela to sign. Also don’t forget all your questions for Angela! We wonder… does she have a pet iguana? What inspired her to write this amazing inter-generational picture book?
